LAURASTAR Lift Plus Ultimate Redesign

This is a an individual project about the bad sign on the product. Based on the existing Laurastar Lift Plus Ultimate Iron, I collected problems of bad signs of this product to redesign it with more straightforward and clear sign for users to use it more comfortably.

No on/off button on iron
No clear sign to show if the temperature of the iron is good for users to touch
No sign to show if it is ready
Only two options and don’t know which option should be chosen for different clothes
No sign to show water status

Development of the Iron and generator

On/off button on iron
LED strip to show if the iron is ready
Water status sign on iron
Thermometer to show temperature after turning it off.
Bluetooth for users to connect with APP to choose detailed options for clothes
A water bar to show water status
